The Greenwood Plan is building the infrastructure for economic power for disinvested Pittsburgh (and beyond) and we need you at the table!
Greenwood was the name of the Tulsa, OK district that became one of the most prosperous Black communities in American history before it was destroyed. We carry that name forward as a promise: that Pittsburgh can build, own, and sustain what history denied to Black and historically underrepresented entrepreneurs.

General Operations keeps our doors open and our work moving: the staff, partnerships, and programs that connect entrepreneurs to capital, networks, and opportunity every single day.
Greenwood Smithfield is our flagship building taking shape in Downtown Pittsburgh: a permanent, visible home for economic justice at the center of the region's economy. Every gift helps us get closer to opening our doors.
The Emerald City Gems Fund puts new and rising Black business owners into a coworking membership at Emerald City Pittsburgh. This could be a professional address, a place to meet clients, and a community of fellow founders, starting now, while our building comes to life.
